Structural equation

In a simultaneous equations model, an equation that describes the behaviour of economic agents, or an economically meaningful relationship among economic variables, and typically has endogenous variables on both sides. An example is a demand equation or a supply equation, where prices and quantities are endogenous. The parameters of a structural equation are called structural parameters.
