Stock Exchange Automated Quotation System (S.E.A.Q.)

Market-makers in the reorganized Stock Exchange will be obliged to maintain a two-way price in any shares or securities with which they have been registered to deal. This price will be on permanent visual display to all members through S.E.A.O. This display screen will F also display prices quoted by broker/dealers who have opted to make a market in specific shares which are too inactive to be dealt with by the principal market-makers.

In addition to these two-way quotations, S.E.A.O. will also give running information on the number of deals in each share – on a daily basis – highest and lowest traded prices daily basis- highest and lowest traded prices security. Clients will not have access to all this information but, on a separate screen, will be given best prices recorded each day.
