Shares, deferred ordinary

A special category of share, often issued to the founders of a company. These shares normally give the owner special dividend rights, and often entitle him to all profits after a certain percentage has been paid on the other classes of shares. This type of share is not very common in public companies as it tends to arouse suspicion.
